River Maritime Museum -
The Hudson River Maritime Museum is the only museum in New York State exclusively
preserving the maritime history of the Hudson River, its tributaries, and the
industries that developed around it.
Indoor
and outdoor exhibits on Hudson River maritime history, a gift shop, waterfront
special events, and boat rides to the historic Rondout Lighthouse are available
at the museum.

Valley Children's Museum - The Hudson Valley Children's Museum located in historic
Nyack, encourages kids to explore and learn in a safe, innovative environment.

Old
Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum - The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome presents antique airplanes
in their natural setting and recaptures the thrill and excitement of old-time
flying from the period of 1900 to 1940. Neversink
Valley Area Museum - Work a bilge pump or tiller on our full-size canal boat replica,
watch a working canal lock model, hear canal songs, explore canal remains and
imagine what it was like to live along the canal over a century ago at the Neversink

Museum of Art - The Neuberger Museum of Art is Westchester County's premier
museum of 20th century modern and contemporary art. A visit to the Neuberger offers
viewers insights into the work of 20th Century masters, emerging artists and cutting
edge innovators.The Neuberger Museum of Art engages and inspires diverse audiences
by actively fostering the study, appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of
modern art, African art, and the art of our time
Mid-Hudson
Children's Museum - At the Mid-Hudson Children's Museum you'll find over 50 'hands-on'
exhibits for children and adults to explore together, weekly programs, playgroups,
guided educational tours, birthday parties, summer camp, museum store and special
events.
Museum Village
- Museum Village is a living history museum for families, students, and teachers.
A variety of exhibits, living history demonstrations and special events related
to 19th century life and work are held throughout the year featuring costumed
villagers. Eisenhower Hall
Theatre - For more than 25 years Eisenhower Hall Theatre at West Point has been
the Hudson Valley's premier home for the performing arts. The massive (193,000
sq ft) red brick venue is situated on the West bank of the picturesque Hudson
Highlands on the historic grounds of the United States Military Academy. Museum
of the Hudson Highlands - The Museum of the Hudson Highlands offers programs
designed to help illustrate the cultural, historical and natural diversity of
the local and regional environment, using the living outdoor classroom of forests,
wetlands, ponds, streams, meadows and farm fields. Manitoga - Manitoga is
the home and landscape created by Russel Wright. Manitoga offers 80 acres of nature
hiking, picnicking and amazing views of the Hudson.Institute
of Ecosystem Studies - Located at the Mary Flagler Cary Arboretum, the Institute
is internationally recognized for its ecology research and education. The Institute's
strong commitment to public education is reflected in its regularly scheduled
ecology programs and seminars as well as by free visitor access to display gardens,
walking trails and a tropical greenhouse. Hudson
Valley Raptor Center - Located on 91 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of the
Hudson Valley, approximately 100 miles north of New York City, the Center provides
a clinic and numerous buildings to house recuperating birds. Visitors can enjoy
flying demonstrations as well as meet and learn about the birds of prey. Hudson
River Museum - The Hudson River Museum is located in a beautiful 23 acre park
facing one of the most magnificent riverscapes in the world. The museum houses
six modern galleries, a restored 1876 Victorian mansion and the Andrus Planetarium.

Theatre for the Performing Arts - The Emelin Theatre is non-profit institution
dedicated to enriching the lives of Westchester residents with a full range of
performing arts programs including concerts, plays, film, dance and a variety
of children's events. Shadowland
Theatre - Dedicated to high-quality, challenging productions, Shadowland is located
in the charming village of Ellenville, in Ulster County NY. The theatre feature
five plays showcasing the best of contemporary theatre and playwrights. Arm-of-the-Sea
Theater - Each performance by the Arm-of-the-Sea Theater celebrates and defends
the beauty of this living planet, whose multi-faceted images are explore through
a large-scale, highly visual style of theater that incorporates Masks, Puppets
and Live Music. Bardavon
1869 Opera House - For more than 130 years the Bardavon Opera House has presented
legendary performances to the Hudson Valley. The oldest continuously operating
theatre in New York State and among the oldest in the nation, the Bardavon has
long been considered the cultural jewel of the region. Caramoor
Center for Music and Arts - Caramoor Center for Music and Arts is a Mediterranean-style
mansion set on 100 acres of formal gardens and woodlands. Visitors can enjoy some
of the world's greatest Classical and Jazz performances. The center also features
an International Music Festival during the summer. Center
for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck - The Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck
is dedicated to presenting, promoting, and providing educational experiences in
multiple forms of the performing arts and manifold styles of expression. The center
features plays, musicals, dance concerts, lectures, stage readings and workshops. D&H
Canal Museum - Maintained by the D&H Canal Historical Society whose purpose
is to preserve, protect and perpetuate the unique history of the Delaware and
Hudson Canal particularly in Ulster County, the museum features diagrams, photographs,
working technological models, maps and artifacts that tell the story of the D&H
Canal. Dutchess County
Fairgrounds - Sponsored by the Dutchess County Agricultural Society, the Fairgrounds
are host to the second largest agricultural fair in New York State and a variety
of events from April to November. The Fairgrounds is situated on 140 acres and
features Antiques Shows, a Sheep and Wool Festival, an antique Car Show, the Iroquois
Indian Festival and more.
